The middle of winter can be a sensational time to play golf in Perth and the Kwinana course is a great challenge for everyone. We have 20 places booked starting at 8 am on the 10th hole and the cost is a very reasonable $35 per player with another $35 for a cart to share if you want. (Book the cart directly with the club on 9419-4959) We will be following the game with our AGM for the 2019 year and the relevant invitation and reports will be emailed separately. Five of the Committee positions have to be vacated (although all are re-nominating) so if you want to get involved in running the club, come along ready to put your hand up. Hi fellow Palle Maille-ites, Covid-19 has been a big shakeup to our ability to travel and play golf.  The committee has been waiting to see if the government was removing travel restrictions to the north but in the end had to make a change - so our away game this year has been moved from Geraldton to the Albany Golf Course on the beautiful south coast. Our game will be part of the Albany club competition on SATURDAY 27 June (time TBA) Cost will be about $40 (book carts directly with the club pro on 98448433) as part of the Palle Maille booking. We need to confirm numbers of players two weeks before the game so please confirm ASAP, but definitely before 11 June. We will be having pre-dinner canapes and drinks from about 5:30 pm at the Motel Le Grande followed by dinner and presentation of the Touring Trophy, so this is probably the best place to stay as well.  Ivan has confirmed availability for us and details are attached.  Dinner and drinks will be $25 for members and $75 for visitors and the balance will be subsidised by the club.  Please book your own accommodation but let us know via the link below how many will be playing and how many will be dining. Game #2 of the 2020 season is at Meadow Springs in Mandurah. Lovely course as long as you don't walk into the glass wall of the clubhouse (yes, I did!). Meadow Springs fees are $80 pp which includes the cart. 20 spots available. Tee times start at 09:04, 8 min intervals. Should also mention this is the first of the three rounds of Autumn Eclectic.

Hi folks, A new venue for our Christmas game and lunch (further for some and closer for others) but the overall format will be similar. Golf starts at 8:20 and will be a novelty event with just our three clubs still (putter plus two others of your choice) but it will probably be an Ambrose event so don't panic.  We have booked 20 places for the golf and 30 places for the lunch so invite your partner to come along. As usual, the club will fund the majority of the meal and drinks. Meadow Springs is one of our favourite courses in Perth and is always in immaculate condition.  This time it will be two weeks out from a major tournament and so I expect some amazing golf. We have booked for 24 players with the first tee-off at 8am approx and the price is $59 to walk and $79 with a shared cart. Hi fellow bush bashers, It has been a very long time since any of us braved the magnificent Cut Golf Course at Dawesville and it is time for us ALL to venture there again with our packed lunches, emergency supplies, two or three dozen spare balls and a keen desire to experience links golf on the Western Australian coast.  This course HAS to be played to be believed. THE GAME WILL BE A TEAM EVENT, so you will have lots of opportunity to experience the carpet-like fairways and the huge undulating greens, with a few being 40 metres long. (Try to imagine THAT putt???!!!#$@!!!)
