To all our current members as well as those on the email list and any 'old' members who we can contact THIS MONTH OUR CLUB TURNS 30!!! In order to celebrate the occasion we have booked two rounds of 9 holes at the Lake Claremont Par 3 Golf Course starting at 9am followed by a cocktail type lunch on the balcony and everyone is welcome. Please book for the game and the lunch separately and please tell us the names of any guests.   If you have contact with any of our old members (a List WAS sent out straight after this email) please feel free to contact and invite them, for the game and/or the lunch.   A range of finger foods will be served for lunch starting at about noon on the balcony in front of the gym. Food is free for current financial members and all others will be $35 which can be paid on the day.  Everyone buy your own drinks at the bar. Only 24km past the Dome Cafe in Mundaring is the hidden gem of El Caballo Golf Course.  With the prancing and blowing of the Lipizzaner horses long gone from the stables and arena, but what is left now is an honest and interesting challenge to golfers of all standards. We have booked 20 places and reserved 5 carts with the first tee-off just after 8am. Make sure you get there a bit early to warm up around the firepit and taste the fares from the shop managed by Ian, our host for the day. Cost is $50 for the round and another $25 to share a cart. A first time for Palle Maille playing at Marangaroo and a great place to bring overseas visitors with the abundance of kangaroos on the course. I hear that a can with some coins in it will chase the roos away if you need to get room for a swing.  We have 20 places booked with the first tee-off at 8am sharp, so don't be late.
