Hi fellow Palle Maille-ites, Kelly and I as well as Ryan Frankcom ride as part of a group called Cranking for Cancer to raise money for cancer research here in Perth at the Perkins Institute of Medical Research [https://perkins.org.au/] and our annual Quiz Night is on again next month to help support their work. If you have a huge general knowledge or know the authors of lots of books or recognise lots of music or just want an interesting night chatting with friends while you try to win some prizes, this is for you! Ladies and gentlemen (I use that term rather loosely!), the next event is on 17th Sept at Hillview. This time, Heritage/Classic. Fees are $34 plus $17:50 pp per cart. Its also the first round of Spring Eclectic. 24 booked and 7:56 tee off.

The Enchanted Valley is a perfect description for the Araluen Estate course. Magnificent fairways, greens and scenery and some of the most iconic holes of golf in Australia. The 9th and 16th holes are stand-outs, but the walk up the valley for the 17th and 18th are just as welcoming..... if you are not in the bush or a creek wandering down both sides of the fairway.... We have booked 24 places starting at 0830 and the cost is $80.10 each (yes that is correct) including a shared cart. Watch out for kangaroos on the roads in the morning and make sure you are on-time.
