Our annual AWAY game this year is in Dongara/Port Denison on SATURDAY 21 June staying overnight on the Saturday night for dinner and award of the trophy & other various prizes. A casual Dinner will also be arranged separately on the Friday for anyone already in town. Likely to be 10 to 15 locals playing subject to weather.  We can join the local comp if requested and our tee-off will be late morning. We have 15 players, 4 groups. Rules 4 clubs per player, one of which must be a putter and one must be a sand wedge. Teams. I will select 6 pairs and one triple based on handicaps, such that teams have roughly equal h'cap. Pink ball. One team player (player A) starts the first hole with pink ball, and his/her score on that hole is the team score. On the next hole, player B has pink ball and that score is team score. Next hole player A etc, or if a triple, it's player C. Scores. Each player hits tee shot, then team members each play out hole from where the best drive lands. Record player shots. Clearly mark whomever starts the game with pink ball so i can compile team score. Lost balls (pink or other). Replace ball and play out the hole. To speed up things, if the hole is a shocker, record an 8 for a par3, 9 for a par4 and a 10 for par5. There will be two NTPs on par3s and two NTPs in 2 shots on par4s.
