Only 24km past the Dome Cafe in Mundaring is the hidden gem of El Caballo Golf Course.  With the prancing and blowing of the Lipizzaner horses long gone from the stables and arena, but what is left now is an honest and interesting challenge to golfers of all standards. We have booked 20 places and reserved 5 carts with the first tee-off just after 8am. Make sure you get there a bit early to warm up around the firepit and taste the fares from the shop managed by Ian, our host for the day. Cost is $50 for the round and another $25 to share a cart. A first time for Palle Maille playing at Marangaroo and a great place to bring overseas visitors with the abundance of kangaroos on the course. I hear that a can with some coins in it will chase the roos away if you need to get room for a swing.  We have 20 places booked with the first tee-off at 8am sharp, so don't be late. Our last game of the year for 2026 and while it doesn't count to any of our trophies we have decided to play this one with a full set of clubs for everyone. We have 5 groups booked to start at 8am finishing as close to 12 as we can for the first group.  The course is now a full year more mature since we played the new course last December, so it should be a great competition.  Golf cost is $79 for the round and $25 each to share a cart. Afterwards we will adjourn to the Birdie restaurant for our annual Christmas lunch and presentations with family welcome to join you. Final details will be released in the coming weeks, but get your booking in quickly as there will be limited golf and lunch spots.  As usual the club will be paying for Member's lunch.
